Kulturni dom Franca Bernika Domžale

Kulturni dom Franca Bernika is a municipal culture centre of the town Domžale with approx. 30.000 inhabitants located 15km from Ljubljana, Slovenia's capital. They operate two multipurpose venues (190 and 21 seats), an art gallery, a museum, an ethnographic site, a local newspaper and a cinema that is hosted in the mentioned venues. Their main activity is cultural event management and execution (theatre, classical concerts, musical performances, cinema and event cinema, puppet shows, young audience film education debates and workshops, art exhibitions), on average they host 60 events per month. They work closely with multiple schools and a youth centre, their activities are partly publicly funded by the local municipality.
