This project wants to use dance to develop an inclusive methodology that prioritises equity over equality. We aim to create a welcoming space in our studio where diverse dynamics and energies can thrive. Through a 2 year trajectory - we invite diverse groups of participants to join a core group of artists, practitioners, and researchers with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion to engage in workshops, research, residencies and creation sessions as well as the creation of a documentary.

This project aims to create a welcoming space in our studio where diverse dynamics and energies can thrive through the development of an inclusive methodology that prioritises equity over equality. To do this, we propose four blocks each spanning 6 months.

1: Engaged observation. This block is about identifying optimal conditions for idea development through regular meetings and the creation of a shared database of methodologies and experiences. 12 artists and organisations specialising in inclusivity will meet and participate in each other's activities in order to lay a foundation for experimentation and collaboration.

2: Receptive Experimentation. Duos within the core group will then co-organise workshops aimed at diverse target groups, fostering exchange and reflection through creative processes, movement practices and open feedback sessions.

3: Embed and settle. Participants join residences to create material and build community accommodating different time commitments, working styles, and contributions. This will culminate in a sharing with the core team and the public, emphasising empathy and celebrating diversity.

4: Refining and DefiningA 6-month open creation residency integrates the learning into new depths. The form of the final sharing will vary according to the direction of the group. To capture the transformative process, we propose the creation of a documentary, serving as both a testament to our collective journey and a practical tool for critical exchange.
