Ljiljana Perišić graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb with a degree in Croatian language and literature and sociology. She is the director of the Trešnjevka Cultural Centre (CeKaTe).
In 2008, she established the Department for Socio-Cultural Projects at CeKaTe. She is the co-author of the research "Scene of Cultural Centers in the City of Zagreb, Socio-Cultural Capital within the Local Community", and has focused on research about the cultural habits and needs of Zagreb’s population.
She led kvARTura, the first project gathering six cultural centres in Zagreb as a network. She is the co-leader of several European projects: A + Arts EU / Platform for People with Intellectual Disabilities, Guide Us Into Arts, 2WARdsEurop / Recording Conflicts and Personal Memories, and ABBA (Innovative Bilingual Theater).
