Piotr Michałowski holds a MA in Arts (Cultural Studies), and a MSci in Cultural Management, Project Coordination, Fundraising and Entrepreneurship. He is a graduate of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation's School of Moderators and of the Wrocław School of Jazz (as a jazz guitarist). He has trained at the National Centre for Culture in Poland and at Stanford University on International Cultural Management, Local Strategic Development for Cultural Institutions, and on Creativity and Innovation. Piotr has also successfully coordinated over 100 cultural projects.
His working experience has been in the NGO sector for 22 years, in the cultural public sector for 12 years, and in the creative sector for the past 7 years, running the Micro Art Center. He has expertise on territorial development, networking, and non-urban culture.
Piotr has been a ENCC Board member since 2015.
