Bridge between European Culture Centres (BECC) is ENCC programme dedicated to locally based workers from culture centres, and aims to facilitate their international work experience and by this, growth of the new competences and skills, crucial for providing be er service for their community and audiences.
BECC 2016: Modern society faces lately dynamic democratic, social and economical challenges. How may culture and arts empower the voice of our socie es and enable citizens to imagine and experiment new models in a global debate? How are we, as cultural workers, reacting to these challenges and building our capacities to support local and European communities in these processes of changes? By BECC programme, ENCC aims to support cultural centres staff into building their capacities to face new professional and society challenges, to build European cooperation and working communities, to reflect and exchange in a European and global context.
Objectives of the launching seminar
- To introduce yourself, to get to know each other and to choose your partner organization for BECC exchange
- to have the opportunity to reflect on your competences and professional development
- to know more about European mobility opportunities, to meet European and local peers
- to learn about the essentials on BECC ( financing, reports etc.)
Seminar format
To reach these objectives we prepared a programme various formats and seminars; we are looking forward for you to join this! The 3 days will comprise training and concealing on personal and professional development, a workshop on international mobility, meetings with colleagues from other networks and local organisations developing European projects, introduction to local and global perspectives for culture, from a European perspective. Last but not least, you will explore the Brussels cultural and artistic field by meeting Brussels peers with whom you can talk, share and exchange their experience and knowledge.
