The ENCC coordination office is running an experimental project on moving to free, libre and open source digital tools. On September 20th, 2023, our working group on digital ethics will host a hands-on breakfast for members and other cultural organisations to open accounts on Mastodon.
During this hybrid meeting, we will discover Mastodon as an alternative or parallel option to Twitter and Instagram, and create our own accounts on the spot. No previous knowledge is needed, just a good amount of curiosity.

Céline Quellet from Tactic asbl (which supports non-profit orgs and citizens in appropriating alternative digital tools) will be with us to advise on first steps, technical issues, and strategy.
The workshop will take place in English, both online and at our premises on Rue des Alexiens 16B, 1000 Brussels, from 10:00 till 11:30 CET. It is free but places are limited and participants must register here. Please note that we will close registrations as soon as the workshop is full.
