Travelling Academy brings together professionals in a peer-to-peer sharing and learning process.
It fosters interactions and cooperation between cultural centers from Europe and local stakeholders.
The project is part of the Capacity Building programme and is articulated around a two days event proposing: workshops, peer to peer training sessions, study visits to local organisations/initiatives and networking.
The first Travelling Academy was organised in Krakow between October 14th and 17th 2015 on the theme "Reinventing Forms of Civic Participation and Audience Participation at the Age of Digitalisation: The Role of Cultural Centres".
We aim through this project to :
- To contribute to the raise competencies and skills of staff in cultural centres and cultural operators in general;
- To explore a specific territory and meet stakeholders beyond the participants in the event;
- To work on a specific theme, linked with the EU priority thematic, chosen to foster innovation among the members and to interlink new stakeholders.
- To experiment smaller, participative formats (world café, training, etc.)
