Founded by the City of Zagreb in 1958, the Dubrava People’s University operates as public institution for cultural and educational activities. The Centre’s cultural programmes include the Vladimir Filakovac Gallery, the Dubrava Children’s Theatre, the Dance Centre, the Musical Centre, the Centre for Croatian Traditional Culture, the Film and Video Centre, the Centre for Actions and Events Programmes, while its educational activities include the Foreign Languages Centre, the Musical Centre, the Dance Centre, the Information Technology Centre, the Art Centre, the Film and Video Centre, the Dubrava Children’s Theatre, the Centre for Croatian Traditional Culture. The Dubrava People’s University organizes programmes for children, the youth, and adults, and its cultural programmes have around 45000 visitors per year, while around 1500 persons attend its educational programmes.
