Incubator is the newcomer in the ENCC's capacity-building programmes. This project will run annually to support cultural centre professionals and other cultural operators in developing their European Projects, from conception to application.
Before applying, please read the Incubator project
page to understand the process and timing.
In June 2019, the first 2-day intensive training/consultancy session will be offered to 7 selected project bearers who need help designing and fine-tuning their project before applying for funds.
In this session we will focus on projects seeking to apply to the Creative Europe and Erasmus + programmes at the end of 2019 or the beginning of 2020.
Participants will be supported by the team of experts and the ENCC coordination office before and after the 2-day training, up to the moment of writing their application.
ABOUT THE TRAINING EVENT
Two experts in international cultural cooperation will be present to advise and mentor participants:
Maïa Sert works as project manager for On the Move network. She is a specialist of international cultural cooperation and in particular EU-funded projects, thanks to her hands-on experience in Creative Europe, INTERREG and Erasmus+ programmes.
Nicolas Combes, vice-general director at the World Heritage site Saline Royale d'Arc-et-Senans (EPCC), is specialised in European projects and funding. He has been interim director of the EPCC, former general administrator of the Gaîté Lyrique in Paris, and co-coordinator of Jordi Savall's triannual residency and the ORPHEUS XXI project.
Participants will also be supported by members of the ENCC coordination office.
This event follows the ENCC Project Fair on June 4th, in Lisbon, where participants will have the opportunity to present their project, meet with other project bearers from our network, and attend workshops on European Project designing.
The 2-day session will be hosted in the Convento da Arrabida, a 16th-century monastery secluded in the Arrabida Hills along the coast of Portugal.
Prior to the session, participants will attend the first day of the Project Fair in Lisbon on June 4th.
All expenses will be covered (travel, meals, accommodation, registration fee for Project Fair).
WHO MAY APPLY?
Cultural operators who already have a working idea for a European cooperation project.
Priority will be given to applicants from ENCC members, but applications from non-members are welcome.
Before applying, please read the general Incubator project page to understand the process and calendar.
