Blu Breeding and Learning Unit
Blu is a non-profit cultural unit, public program, and publisher based in Genoa. Operating within the city’s complex Mediterranean ecosystem, we reactivate forgotten urban spaces—from neighborhood centers to disused greenhouses—transforming them into hubs for experimentation.
Expertise & Activities: We specialize in visual design, informal education, and site-responsive cultural activation. Through residencies, workshops, and public programs, we bridge local heritage with international research.
Mission & Values: Our mission is to heal social and generational fractures through the power of encounter and shared culture. We value inclusivity, cross-disciplinary contamination, and the proactive regeneration of material and intangible resources to build a more open, contemporary city.
