Staromiejski Dom Kultury

Staromiejski Dom Kultury (SDK) is a Warsaw-based cultural institution dedicated to fostering creativity, civic engagement, and social inclusion through culture. It organizes interdisciplinary programs in literature, visual arts, education, and social activism, with a strong focus on youth and community empowerment. SDK values openness, collaboration, and innovation, supporting both emerging and established cultural practitioners. It also leads city-wide initiatives, such as the Program for Strengthening Employees of Warsaw’s Cultural Centers, enhancing the resilience and competencies of cultural professionals. Culture can only support communities when it is strong and resilient itself. Enhancing staff qualifications strengthens the city's cultural ecosystem.
