HACERIA ARTEAK — a Basque cultural centre expert in Creative & Cultural Industries!
Haceria Arteak is a non-profit cultural association located in the neighbourhoods of Ribera de Deusto / Zorrotzaurre in Bilbao. Their main project, ZAWP (Zorrotzaurre Art Work in Progress), is a movement that was created in 2008 to address the newly-approved urban development plan for these neighbourhoods. In order to revitalize these areas, Haceria Arteak work to change the landscape of this island through arts and creativity. They also aim at achieving the widest possible sustainability of the projects of the different sectors of the Creative and Cultural Industries of the Basque Country, generating business models and internationalising them.
