ACC — a federative association of cultural centres, expert in cultural policy and rights!
ACC is a non-profit association whose members are all cultural centres of the French-Speaking Community in Wallonia and in Brussels, but also other associations of the socio-cultural sector. They represent 119 cultural centres (12 in Brussels and 107 in Wallonia), and are responsible for reflection, expert analysis and research on various aspects of the issues that concern their members. They develop activities to reinforce the promotion, coordination and cooperation between cultural centres; and to create the necessary synergies for the partnerships with the authorities and the non-profit sector on the role of cultural centres. Furthermore, they organize brainstorming and training sessions for managers and professionals of the cultural centres, publishes two newsletters (ACC-Express and Infolettre) as well as supports cultural centre projects through the "Ethias-ACC" prize. Last but not least, ACC represents the employees of the cultural centres and is one of the founding members of the Confederation of Employers of Sport and Socio-Cultural Sectors (CESSoC).They have several mandates in advisory committees related to cultural and artistic matters.
