The Ochota Cultural Centre (OCC) is a non-governmental cultural institution subordinated to the central municipal authorities of Warsaw.
In 2018 OCC celebrated its 50th anniversary. During this time, OCC has become one of the most energetic and creative cultural centres in Poland and is now considered as a leading cultural institution in Warsaw. Its offer includes a diversified educational and cultural program addressed to all age groups.
In addition to the cultural and creative activities organised, the OCC organises five different workshop on a variety of cultural projects.
Why did OCC join the ENCC?
"The Ochota Cultural Centre joined the ENCC to learn other European best practices and give them a try behind “the east wall”. After implementing numerous ENCC projects, OCC learned a lot of good practices and wishes to continue such a fruitful exchange. As the projects of ENCC are very similar to the ones that OCC is planning to manage in the nearest future, it is very helpful to know all the pros and cons from other organisations."
