We are delighted to announce that three new cultural centres just joined our network! Please welcome:
- Cultural centre Cerknica, our first member from Slovenia! Its director, Anja Bajda, connected with the ENCC while participating in the 2017 edition of BECC, our training/staff exchange scheme. Cerknica is part of the Notranjska Regional Park, and organises many cultural events focused on a sustainable future and inspired by unique natural surroundings. Their goals are to get recognition for the value of their cultural events which actively involve their local community, and to support the creation of new venues for cultural and artistic expression in their region. - Samba Résille Association, our first full member from France! This European centre for cultural and civic initiatives supports active citizenship through learning processes based on creative practices. They organise world and modern music concerts, community outreach activities, Brazilian music courses, the city-wide Toulouse Carnival and more. They are also experts in internationalisation and mobility, having set up over 1,000 Erasmus+ individual mobilities between 2014 and 2021. [Read more about them]
- Foundation czAR(T) Krzywogońca, from Poland! This cultural centre in a traditional Bory-Tucholskie-style complex aims to level the playing field in education and access to arts and culture in rural areas, and to celebrate interculturality. Very anchored in their territory, they organise many community events, especially related to poetry, literature and the promotion of local and regional culture. [Read more about them]
