The call for applications for the 2022 UP Grants Contest has closed. We received many applications, and are very happy to see such enthusiasm geared toward sustainability in all its facets. In total, 36 projects were selected as eligible and are now displayed on the UP Grants Contest page. The ENCC thanks everyone for their participation and efforts in producing their applications.
As a reminder, public voting began yesterday, on May 23rd, and will remain open until May 30th. Everyone accessing the voting platform can vote. Every voter is asked to vote for a maximum of 2 projects in each focus, for a maximum of 8 votes to be distributed. The voting period will close on the 30/05 by lunchtime (13.00 CET). You can check the votes under the submission page at https://encc.eu/calls/up-grants (submissions section)
2 votes x 4 focuses = 8 total votes
Public voting in combination with the scores dispensed by the panel of experts will determine the award recipients. Each type of vote, public and experts, will amount to around 50% of an application's score. Two monetary prizes per strand will be distributed (1 to projects based in EU countries, 1 to Italy - only 3 regions are eligible: Piemonte, Valle d’Aosta, Liguria) which makes 8 monetary prizes in total.
The jury of experts is composed of 5 experts from the ENCC board of Directors and the ENCC coordination office.
As mentioned in the guidelines, each project will be evaluated against 6 aspects, namely:
Innovation, awareness building, impact, engagement of the local community, additionality of the grant, the relevance of the project within the frame of the programme.
Thank you again for participating in the UP Grants contest. More information can be viewed at the Contest page and remember to vote.
