In June 2021 the ENCC General Assembly adopted a new Strategic Plan covering the period from 2021 to 2025.

This document, drafted through a multi-step process involving all relevant actors of the networks (effective and associate members, directors-board, advisory group and other cultural experts cooperating with the ENCC), contains not only an updated version of key elements of the network such as vision and mission, but also a set of strategic and operational objectives that determine the network's current plan and activities. It also includes a 10-point glossary to define socio-culture.
The ENCC Strategic Plan was prepared in line with the Fribourg Declaration, the 2020 Rome Charter, the 2021 Porto Santo Charter, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
