The ENCC network has been selected by the European Commission as one of the 22 networks representing the Arts and Cultural sector in Europe for 2014-2017.
ENCC organises different events contributing to the professional development of its members, the structuring of the sector, and the development of cooperation and innovation at a European level: Travelling academy, BECC Staff exchange programme, Short Cuts conferences, etc. Among the network’s working topics : arts & culture, education and lifelong learning, territorial development, digital dynamics, and social innovation.
The diversity of members
and partnerships reinforce the network's sustainable development and contributes to building up synergies between European cultural centres and other European stakeholders.
The ENCC is composed of full members and associated members. The full members are the national, regional or local networks of cultural centres and individual cultural centres. Cultural organizations, institutions and individual persons can become associated members.
Become a member
Becoming a ENCC member is easy. Here is why you should apply for a membership:
Each year, the ENCC offers its members many activities which support their professional development, building up and expanding professional networks with peers from other European cultural centres and other cultural stakeholders and finding partners for their projects;
ENCC members contribute to European debate on topics emerging from dynamic contemporary society challenges;
ENCC members are regularly informed on ENCC programme developments, activities and projects as well as on other European issues: EU calls, other funds and other networks' activities;
Each member may host ENCC meetings and thus bring to the attention of community cultural managers and stakeholders from all Europe topics relevant for the community/region and shared on a European level.
ENCC members are invited to all meetings and are offered lower rates for participation fees.
Last but not least, being a member of ENCC means being a part of its greatest strength, its PEOPLE. Managers, directors, technicians, activists, artists, researchers, animators, policy makers, change-makers and others, from all of the European countries, are with us since 1994, and this community is constantly growing!
