KD MLEJN —a cultural centre AND a creative centre for contemporary circus!
KD Mlejn is a cultural centre in the district Praha 13 that offers a cultural program and helps people, thanks to community activities. Their centre provides about 250 programs including courses and workshops for different groups of the audience (children, adults, seniors, etc.) in the fields of music, dance, theatre and acrobatics. In the framework of the community cooperation, the centre also supports a folklore group, a theatre group and musicians. Besides, KD Mlejn works as a creative centre for a contemporary circus and produces a contemporary circus festival. A few more music and theatre festivals are co-produced together with different associations. KD Mlejn is supported by the local municipality Prague 13 and also by little financial assistance from Prague capital government and the Ministry of Culture CZ for some projects.
