ASTRAC — the voice of the professionals of the Cultural centres of the French-speaking Community of Belgium!
ASTRAC represents the professionals of the Cultural centres of the French-speaking Community of Belgium. ASTRAC has about 300 individual members and is supported by most of the 115 officially recognised and subsidised Cultural centres of French-speaking Belgium. ASTRAC gathers, represents and supports these cultural workers to: improve their professional skills, motivation and reflection — promote their work — ensure their voice in cultural policy-making at all levels — enhance general awareness of the role of Cultural centres in society. The network seeks, analyses and disseminates professional information items and current events likely to interest its members and their colleagues, as well as collects and spreads their views, considerations and questions. Its program of activities revolves around two annual meetings with thematic seminars and participatory workshops directed towards the different professions involved in Cultural centers.
