This Friday, September 20th, millions of people will walk out of workplaces and homes to join young climate strikers on the streets and demand climate justice for everyone. The Third Global Climate Strike is convened at the time of the World Climate Summit, and marks the beginning of a week of global action for the climate.
We believe it is extremely important to join forces to change a system locked in unsustainable consumption, inequality and a disconnection from nature. We also believe that all sectors should contribute to a values shift and a change in policies, but that culture has a particular role to play in the mind shift, the value shift and the possibility of carrying out our activities in a different way. We are particularly attentive both to the way culture can influence society, and to the way cultural organisations can make an internal change.
That's why the ENCC has decided to join the protest and the march that will take place in Brussels this Friday.
We invite all our Members to join the demonstrations that are organised all over the world – more info can be found on the website https://globalclimatestrike.net
Share your experience with us, together we can make the difference!
