CASA ODARA
Porto, Portugal
Casa Odara is a cultural association founded in 2023, located in downtown Porto. It focuses on developing a cultural programme centred on the artistic productions of immigrants, with an emphasis on projects by women artists, Black collectives, LGBTQIA+ communities, and other minorities who lack the necessary support to develop their work across various artistic fields. Inspired by the diversity of Porto’s migrant population, the association seeks to activate a collective diaspora by connecting artists with audiences. Its mission is to build bridges between the world and these artists, offering them visibility in a safe and welcoming environment.
