DUMBO - Rigenerazione Creativa Condivisa
A temporary urban regeneration space In Bologna, Italy. A place where associations, businesses and citizens collaborate and contaminate each other.
DumBO (which stands for Distretto Urbano Multifunzionale di Bologna) is more than a container. It welcomes different experiences and, respecting the history and characteristics of each one, relates them, to create new synergies and to share a vision.
Almost 40,000 square meters of the old freight yard Ravone, owned by FS Sistemi Urbani, are now available to citizens in the form of sheds and open areas destined to culture, art, social activities, music and sport, in close relation with the territory.
The DumBO District is an open community that creates new connections between culture, art and society. A project that unifies social inclusion, entertainment, culture in all its forms, experimentation and sustainability, where new forms of collaborations are experienced every day.
