Eesti Rahvamajade Ühing (ERMÜ)

ERMÜ is a non-profit organisation that unites Estonian cultural centres funded by local governments while also representing the cultural workers within these institutions. Its mission is to raise national awareness of the importance of cultural centres in local communities and to advocate for a legal framework that supports their activities. ERMÜ plays an active role in shaping cultural policy at local, regional, and state levels and works to establish professional standards for cultural centre employees. It also seeks to strengthen existing relationships and build new connections between cultural centres in Estonia and beyond. As part of its international engagement, ERMÜ is part of the Baltic cooperation within the ENCC.
