La Nave del Duende
La Nave del Duende is a Scenic Resource Management Center located in the La Cañada Industrial Park (Casar de Cáceres, Cáceres, Spain), managed by the company Karlik Danza Teatro. Founded in 2007 after the renovation of an industrial warehouse, it offers spaces for artistic creation, research, performance, and exchange.
This versatile space, supported by the Government of Extremadura, INAEM, and the City Council of Casar de Cáceres, is conceived as a cultural hub open to the public. It has been recognized in the rural cultural sector with awards such as the Rosa María García Cano Award (2023), Sancho IV, Avuela Pluma, and the AGCEX Performing Arts Award.
La Nave hosts artistic residencies, workshops, performances, and a diverse program (theatre, dance, circus, puppetry, etc), and also offers facilities such as accessible entrances and parking, making it ideal for families.
The project is coordinated by a team led by Cristina D. Silveira (Artistic Direction) and David Pérez Hernando (Technical Coordination and Management), along with staff responsible for venue operations, programming, and communication.
