Tiro Association For Arts

Tiro Association for Arts (TAA) is a non-governmental organization located in South Lebanon, established in 2014. The association's mission is to encourage local communities to engage in arts and culture outside of existing political and religious settings. TAA believes that culture and arts can be strong drivers of development, social cohesion, and ultimately change. The organization's activities include implementing artistic training courses, organizing theater and music festivals, arts exhibitions, and community events, as well as promoting social and cultural development through cinematic performances for children and youth. TAA also aims to provide independent cultural forums by rehabilitating and reopening closed cinemas.
