Ziemeļrīgas Kultūras Apvienība

The Northern Administrative Territory of Riga is home to three major cultural landmarks: VEF Culture Palace, Culture Palace ZIEMEĻBLĀZMA, and MEŽAPARKS GRAND BANDSTAND. These venues hold significant cultural, historical, and architectural value, collectively shaping Latvia’s cultural landscape. Spanning from the Art Nouveau era to the present, they have continuously evolved while preserving their core mission, playing a vital role in Riga’s cultural identity and international presence.

On August 17, 2021, Culture Palace ZIEMEĻBLĀZMA and MEŽAPARKS GRAND BANDSTAND were formally integrated with VEF Culture Palace, leading to the establishment of the Riga Municipal Institution – The Culture Association of Northern Riga. This unification ensures a strategic vision that enhances and interconnects the distinct identities of these cultural spaces while focusing on history, modernity, and innovative technology as key pillars of their ongoing development.
