Arts & Cultural Management Conference
The ACMC is a 100% volunteer-run endeavour that brings together artists, designers, cultural professionals, scholars and researchers, to discuss pressing issues facing the creative sector. It is not only a conference but also a community-building initiative.
Through the main on-site event and various online activities that take place throughout the year, the ACMC offers a platform for networking and showcasing creative work, encouraging participants to exchange ideas and broaden their skill sets.
More than a one-off event taking place every year, the Arts and Cultural Management Conference (ACMC) is a community-building project developed and run by an international team of volunteers. It brings together artists, cultural practitioners, scholars and researchers, as they discuss pressing issues facing the creative sector nowadays. Through the main on-site event taking place in Vienna and the various online activities mapped out throughout the year, the ACMC offers a platform for networking and showcasing creative work, encouraging participants to meet online and offline, exchange ideas and broaden their skill sets.
The project aims at fostering a stimulating and cross-disciplinary dialogue on current matters, as well as building a strong international community around shared passions and goals for cultural and artistic evolution. Nurtured by the Salon de la Sagesse, a non-profit organisation established in Vienna in 2020, this year’s edition of the ACMC is a journey into intergenerational dialogue and creative convergence. Through its commitment to diversity and innovation, reflected both in the makeup of its team but also in the formats of its events and activities, the ACMC is a project of great relevance that resonates with the shared aspirations of our global cultural community.
It is a platform where trailblazing, nexus thinkers come together to establish a network across the arts and academia, challenging ingrained beliefs and promoting diverse perspectives.
