Regional Centre for Cultural Animation

Wojewódzki Ośrodek Animacji Kultury is based in Toruń (Poland). We are a public cultural institution operating since 1975, financed by the Marshal's Office of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Region. Our mission is to support the development of culture in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region and to nurture the region's intangible heritage.

In our activities, we pursue three strategic objectives:

Objective No 1: Supporting aspiring artists in our region - focusing on young artists.

Objective No. 2: Building local identity and caring for the intangible heritage of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region

Objective No. 3: Increasing the competence of culture personnel and teachers involved in informal art education in the region.
