Closing the Gap is our programme aiming at building bridges between cultural centres and local authorities. It seeks to enhance communication and trust as well as inspire and improve collaboration between these entities, fostering more structured dialogue.

Within Closing the Gap, we organised six roundtable discussions across Europe to facilitate meaningful connections, bringing together diverse stakeholders. These discussions led to the development of a cheat sheet designed to be accessible and practical for use by both socio-cultural centres and local governments. This resource outlines the rationale and benefits of collaboration, along with prompts for reflection, serving as a catalyst for dialogue.

In order to encourage local dissemination, we have translated the document into several European languages (find the translated versions in the dedicated section below).

A special acknowledgement goes to the people who revised the translations, as well as to the Closing the Gap coordinator, the ambassadors, and the roundtable hosts who made this publication possible.
