Colleagues from the University College of Dublin will introduce a framework designed to integrate culture into the European Green Deal, enabling the creative and cultural sectors to contribute to environmental sustainability.

Following that, Experts from the University of the Aegean will address key issues related to inclusion and accessibility in heritage, emphasising participatory approaches that engage diverse communities and foster equity in decision-making processes.

The Municipality of Milan, one of the three HeritACT pilot sites, will share examples of cross-sectoral collaboration for heritage reactivation. These partnerships, involving cultural institutions, researchers, policymakers, and local communities, serve as inspiring models for interdisciplinary cooperation.

Lastly, experts from design company THINGS will discuss how digital technologies and emerging tools can enhance heritage management, citizen engagement, and accessibility, with a focus on the HeritACT toolkit.

The event is designed as an interactive exchange, encouraging participants to engage in discussion, sharing experiences and practices. Through this cross-fertilisation of ideas, we aim to inspire new approaches that integrate cultural heritage into sustainability and innovation policies, fostering meaningful and lasting impact across Europe and beyond.
