A CASA AO LADO - Artistic Center

The Artistic Center – A Casa ao Lado is dedicated to social and cultural dynamization, working with and for the community through artistic education, social inclusion through art, and urban interventions. Since its foundation in 2005, all projects have been rooted in the graphics, stories, legends, and personalities of the places they engage with, fostering identity, social connection, and territorial cohesion.

Guided by the belief that each individual contribution shapes the collective whole, A Casa ao Lado ensures that all interventions are collaboratively designed and executed with the community. By involving participants in the entire creative process, the organisation nurtures a sense of belonging and ownership, empowering individuals to leave their personal graphic mark on the spaces they transform.
