AGORA Savaria Cultural and Media Centre Nonprofit Ltd., the dominant public cultural organization in the region, is a company 100% owned by Szombathely County Municipality.

Due to the dynamic changes of the past period, AGORA was transformed into a non-profit ltd. in 2022, and at the same time it was merged with the Szombathely Mediacentre Nonprofit Ltd., which owned the local TV. This is how one of the city's most important cultural organizations was created, which is simultaneously responsible for the community's cultural tasks, operates a cinema, a children's resort, a tourist attraction, and operates the city television. Agora is one of the 14 Hungarian agora-type cultural centres within Hungary. Our values are quality, sustainability, innovation, creativity, digitalization.
