AGORA Savaria Cultural and Media Centre Nonprofit Ltd. is the leading public cultural organisation in the region and is wholly owned by Szombathely County Municipality.

Following dynamic changes in recent years, AGORA was transformed into a non-profit limited company in 2022 and merged with Szombathely Mediacentre Nonprofit Ltd., which previously owned the local television station. This merger resulted in the creation of one of the city's most significant cultural organisations, responsible for overseeing community cultural activities, operating a cinema, a children's resort, a tourist attraction, and managing the city's television station.

AGORA is one of 14 Hungarian agora-type cultural centres across Hungary. Its core values include quality, sustainability, innovation, creativity, and digitalisation.
