The School of Losing Time is a cultural association exploring critical questions and developing projects at the crossroads of interdisciplinary research, urban studies, transfeminist pedagogy, education, art, and communication for social change.
We cultivate spaces where critical thinking, inclusivity, and collective creativity can flourish. Through collaborative formats and participatory experiences, we invite diverse communities to rethink the relationships between bodies, cities, and time, and to imagine alternative ways of living and learning together.
What we do:
-Training & Collaborative Learning:
We design and deliver learning experiences that bridge theory and practice, nurturing skills in collective inquiry, civic imagination, and creative experimentation.
-Action Research & Prototyping
We conduct situated research and develop prototypes that respond to social, spatial, and cultural challenges. Our work combines ethnography, design methods, and artistic practices.
-Designing & Facilitating Communities of Practice
We build and support communities of practice that connect cultural workers, educators, public institutions, and grassroots groups—creating shared spaces for reflection, peer learning, and collective action.
Our methodology is an open, evolving toolkit, shaped by the contexts and communities we work with. Some of the approaches we use include:
self-assessment methods
prototyping and iterative development
co-design and design mentoring
facilitation of group and learning processes
communities of praxis
experiential learning and workshop-based training
gender-aware, ecological, transfeminist and queer approaches
