Asociación Cultural Haceria Arteak

Haceria Arteak is a non-profit cultural association based in the Ribera de Deusto / Zorrotzaurre neighbourhoods of Bilbao. Its flagship initiative, ZAWP (Zorrotzaurre Art Work in Progress), was launched in 2008 in response to the newly approved urban development plan for the area. Through arts and creativity, the organisation seeks to revitalise these neighbourhoods and reshape the urban landscape of the island.

Beyond its local impact, Haceria Arteak is committed to ensuring the sustainability of projects within the Creative and Cultural Industries of the Basque Country. It actively works to develop business models, foster innovation, and promote internationalisation, helping to expand the reach of creative initiatives while preserving the region’s cultural identity.
