olipoli (“the entire city”) is a Thessaloniki-based community of Music & Research exploring the musical traditions of Greece, the Balkans and the Mediterranean and their contemporary expressions. Founded in 2021, it creates spaces for artistic creation, education and dialogue inspired by the city’s multicultural identity.

Through workshops, seminars, concerts, festivals and educational projects, olipoli cultivates music performance and active listening, bridges research with contemporary creation, and fosters collaboration among musicians, scholars, institutions and citizens.

Its mission is to strengthen musical multiculturalism, encourage contemporary expression and move from closed communities to an open city-addressed to, and shaped by, everyone.
