The Federació d'Ateneus de Catalunya (FAC) was founded in 1983 to unite and represent the cultural centres of Catalonia, known as "ateneus." Dedicated to promoting and strengthening Catalan culture, FAC raises awareness of this unique association model while serving as a liaison between ateneus and public administrations. It also provides a range of support services, including accounting, taxation, legal assistance, insurance, digital development, architecture, and communication, helping these cultural centres thrive and expand their impact.
