Kulttuuritalo Valve
Cultural Centre Valve is a hub for people of all ages, offering cultural experiences from both local organisers and international guests. Valve is not only a vibrant house for events, it also serves as a home to numerous cultural organisations. The centre collaborates with a wide range of partners, including artists and event organisers, and provides various facilities for artistic and cultural activities.
The Valve Cultural Centre is an institution of the city of Oulu, which is the European Capital of Culture 2026. It hosts the Oulu Culture Centre for Children and Youth, as well as urban neighbourhood culture initiatives and culture for well-being services. The centre actively supports cultural activities in Oulu and contributes to cultural production across the wider Oulu region, ensuring diverse programming for different audiences.
