KulturNest e.V.

KulturNest e.V. is a non-governmental association that was initiated in 2020 in Berlin and officially registered in 2022. Since inception, we've undertaken initiatives to promote social, cultural and environmental responsibility, and to foster personal empowerment and mutual dialogue among communities, in particular focusing on innovative artistic, nature-relational and cultural practices.

We offer and host a diverse range of activities, organising workshops, public events, training courses and open sessions, moving between visual art, embodiment, storytelling, handcraft, DIY & DIT, upcycling, and nature practices.

KulturNest e.V. is a group of passionate creatives who strongly believe in the power of art and co-creation, a multidisciplinary organisation of youth & adult educators, artists, trainers and activists.

KulturNest e.V. is sited in "Studios ID Collective", an international community of 80 artists and makers. Our work for this community was presented online at the ENCC conference Cultural Impact Now! in 2021 in Denmark. Our board member Dagna Gmitrowicz is part of the ENCC advisory group. Through bottom up initiatives in public spaces, pop up actions, workshops, labs, resource development and strategic educational activities we activate nature connection, boost creativity and give space to express own voice and wisdom. Through inspiring & empowering local community and professionals we champion the use of the arts for the flourishing of society and constantly research to be at the cutting edge of methodologies for strategic thought, communication and care. We manage this through voluntary work, EU funded non-formal educational projects, crowdfunding and donations.
