La Métive

La Métive is a multidisciplinary artistic residency located in Moutier-d'Ahun, in the Creuse region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Open year-round, it welcomes artists and individuals from around the world, providing spaces that foster creative exploration and ongoing research. More than just a residency, La Métive is a project centred on social connections and cultural action within its rural setting. Engaged in intercultural mediation and cultural rights, it has participated in experimental initiatives led by the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region. At its core, La Métive is about creating humanity together—placing relationships between cultures at the heart of artistic residencies, fostering a sense of shared experience, and promoting what could be described as interhumanity mediation.
