Žalec Youth Center
Slovenia
Žalec Youth Center is a public institution founded in 2020 by the Municipality of Žalec and the Žalec Student Club at the initiative of young people. Located in a small rural municipality in Slovenia, we provide a safe and inclusive space for youth aged 13–35. In an environment with limited opportunities, we foster social inclusion, personal growth and active citizenship. We collaborate with local associations and schools to deliver relevant programmes, including workshops on digital skills and creativity, community events, open studios, wellbeing activities and a daily youth hang-out space.
