Norske Kulturhus
Norske kulturhus represents a network of cultural centres across Norway, spanning from Longyearbyen in Svalbard to Lyngdal in the south. Operating as professional venues, these centres play a crucial role in local communities, with approximately one in three Norwegian municipalities hosting a member centre. Collectively, they welcome around 14.5 million visitors annually, serving as vital hubs for cultural engagement and local meeting places.
The Norske kulturhus organisation actively supports the growth and development of its members by organising conferences, providing professional support, and acting as a liaison between cultural centres, media, and granting authorities.
Nina Hodneland, CEO of Norske kulturhus, is dedicated to highlighting the significance of cultural centres and their societal impact. With over 15 years of leadership experience in the Norwegian and international cultural sector, she holds a master’s degree in Cultural Management from the University of Warwick, England.
