Réseau luxembourgeois des Centres Culturels Régionaux
The Réseau Luxembourgeois des Centres Culturels Régionaux (Réseau) is the network organisation for decentralised cultural centres in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Established in 2008, it is a non-profit association representing 10 cultural centres located outside Luxembourg City. While these centres vary in size and facilities, they share a strong local presence and significant regional influence.
The core mission of the Réseau is to ensure a "basic cultural supply" in decentralised areas, providing diverse artistic programmes tailored to local communities. All member centres receive funding from their respective municipalities and the Ministry of Culture.
The Réseau's key missions include: — Representing and advocating for the common interests of its members— Interfacing with authorities, media, and other non-profit organisations — Connecting and coordinating between its members, particularly in terms of programming and communication — Supporting regional cultural development in coherence with national, interregional, and European strategies — Stimulating collaborations, synergies, and joint activities — Researching and developing new audiences — Positioning decentralised cultural centres in their socio-cultural context — Supporting professionalisation in the sector — Reflecting on the development and future prospects of cultural work
Since 2019, the Réseau’s activities have been co-financed by its members and the Ministry of Culture.
