Sud Sonico

Sud Sonico is a Southern Italian music organisation that utilises sound as a tool for social, cultural, educational, humanitarian, and environmental impact through various projects. It organises and promotes festivals, training programmes, and fundraising events to support communities affected by humanitarian crises or conflicts. Rooted in Lecce, Sud Sonico strengthens its local cultural scene while embracing a global perspective, collaborating with international artists, partners, and funding bodies.

As part of its mission, Sud Sonico curated the 2023 edition of Avant Festival, a forward-thinking music and arts festival that brings innovative sounds and creative expressions to Lecce, promoting artistic exchange on an international scale. Additionally, in 2022, it launched Avant Learn, an educational platform designed to offer training programmes, workshops, and learning experiences that empower emerging artists and cultural practitioners to develop their skills and broaden their creative horizons.
