The Association of Finnish Children's Cultural Centers works toward advancing the operations of professional cultural centres for children and teenagers in Finland, and promoting competences in the field of children’s culture as well as its visibility nationwide. Besides, it coordinates Finland's biggest arts campaign aimed at youth, Taidetestaajat (Art testers). Together with CERADA (Centre for Educational Research and Academic Development in the Arts), the Association also founded the Finnish Observatory of Arts Education in Finland in 2017. The Association has expertise in networking, cultural education plans, implementing children's cultural rights, enhancing inclusion in arts and cultural education, policy and advocacy operations. Its values are quality, equality, child-orientation and art. The Association is bilingual and operates in Finnish and Swedish.
