Tiro Association For Arts

Tiro Association for Arts (TAA) is a non-governmental organisation based in South Lebanon, established in 2014. Its mission is to inspire local communities to engage in arts and culture beyond traditional political and religious contexts, believing that the creative sector is a potent driver of development, social cohesion, and positive change. TAA's diverse activities include artistic training courses, theatre and music festivals, art exhibitions, and community events, alongside initiatives promoting cultural development through cinematic performances for children and youth. Additionally, the organisation works to create independent cultural forums by rehabilitating and reopening closed cinemas, further broadening access to the arts.
