Zavod APIS

APIS Institute (Zavod APIS) is a socially engaged non-profit organisation based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Founded in 2012, it operates as an arts-focused institute dedicated to promoting social inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and human rights through creative and educational mediums. Using digital storytelling, audiovisual production, music, and cross-media approaches, APIS transforms personal testimonies into educational, artistic, and advocacy materials, developing and widely disseminating multimedia toolkits. With a strong commitment to inclusion, the institute actively engages underrepresented groups—particularly migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, and socially engaged youth—supporting their artistic and creative expression.
