The project aims to adapt an existing private space in Šabac into a small theatre and cultural-educational centre for children and youth. The space will be used for theatre workshops, creative education, and the production of performances intended for young audiences. The project actively involves young unemployed actors, providing them with professional engagement and opportunities to participate in artistic and educational processes. Through their work with children and youth, the project supports both cultural education of the youngest audiences and professional development of emerging artists. Activities include the adaptation and equipping of the space, an open call for young actors, the implementation of drama workshops for groups of up to 20 children, and the production and public presentation of at least one theatre performance. The project responds to the lack of accessible cultural content for children and youth at the local level and contributes to strengthening community-based cultural life. The adapted space will remain active after the project’s completion, continuing to function as a small theatre and educational hub for the local community.
