Ethic’ia is a digital campaign aimed at promoting ethical use of artificial intelligence and combating misinformation online. Ten young artists and journalists will produce three short films to raise awareness about the risks of AI-generated false news and highlight the importance of fact-checking content, especially in journalism. The project empowers both media professionals and the public to critically engage with digital content, develop ethical digital practices, and foster a more responsible, transparent, and democratic online environment.
Ethic’ia is a digital campaign promoting the ethical use of artificial intelligence (AI) and combating AI-generated misinformation through creative expression. The project starts by engaging 10 young artists and journalists in a collaborative process combining art, media, and digital tools. In the first phase, participants join co-creation workshops to explore AI technologies, ethical challenges, and misinformation risks. They collectively develop concepts and scripts for three short films, focusing on how AI can be both a powerful tool and a source of manipulation. During production, the team uses AI tools to create the films, experimenting with storytelling where AI appears to “speak for itself,” revealing how easily content can be fabricated. This artistic approach creates a strong emotional impact, encouraging audiences to question what they see. In the final phase, the films are launched through a digital campaign on social media, targeting journalists, youth, and the public. Interactive formats encourage audiences to reflect, verify information, and engage critically with digital content.
