Piumosso is digitalising and democratising the classical music gig industry by offering solutions to connect concert gigs with musicians. Concert organisers daily search for extra musicians relies nowadays on personal networks. Orchestra managers are overwhelmed with work and the lack of a system leaves no space for qualified new comers that haven't developed a network yet. When positions are not filled in time as no professional was found in the contacts lists, concert cancelations are possible
Piumosso provides a digital tool for connecting Classical Music Promoters and qualified classical musicians for extra hire during all steps of this process. We divided in several modules according to the funding we can have for development:
1. Search: • Employers can search our database for their ideal hire based on the industry standards of musicians excellence (auditions own, awards, prestigious institutions a person is associated with). • Musicians availability and repertoire can be prescreened cutting many hours of work. • Musicians will have private data secured professional profiles for visibility and a schedule where all information about their gigs and work could be concentrated.
2. Communication: • Users have access to the complete information about a gig in a single communication channel • A professional communication platform for musicians, separated from their private life • Template contracts and fee offer suggestions for employers
3. Payment: • For non premium users, musicians payments could be made directly through the platform • Financial history • Payment on the day of the gig (the market can take up to 2 months deliver a payment nowadays)
4. Event day: • Notifications and confirmations • “refer a musician” function for emergency cases • Automatic addiction of repertoire at musicians repertoire list • Musician’s recommendation possible
